Sheikh Ul Alam Cricket club notched up a mammoth 7 wicket win over Kashmir Knights at Al Bataya Cricket ground yesterday.Batting first Knights got to worse possible start loosing its 3 wickets inside Ist 3 overs.Yasir and Aamir gave SCC a brilliant start and were bowling with good pace. Mustafeed and Adil tried to build the partnership before Mustafeed was Run out by some excellent fielding from Lankar.Mohsin Fazili with his spin also joined the fun with 3 quick wickets and Knights were struggling at 80 for 7 in 13 overs, Knights were in danger of being bowled out for their lowest T20 score and finally were bundled out for 139.
In Reply Lankar and Muzamil Hayat gave SCC a flying start and were cruising along before Adil lankar was caught for well made 51.Muzamil and Abid Ghani took the momentum forward and it was Nadeem Hamdani who finished the match in style with a big Six over the Long off.
“It was a brilliant performance by SCC boys specially after last weeks match.We were outstanding in all departments and boys gave there best and we are looking forward to build the momentum forward “said Mohsin Fazili Director and VC SCC.
“We played good cricket and believed in our self and finished the game” said Adil Lankar Captain SCC.
Coming on the Dubai Hawks Mohsin Fazili confirmed we have agreed to travel to Hamriya on saturday to play Dubai Hawks after both management agreed mutually.Hamriya is considered Home ground for Dubai Hawks and it will be good experience for SCC boys to play and perform there.
